The Mennonite Hospice Program was created in 1993
to serve patients in the terminal stages of their lives
and help family members through this process. The program
offers most medical services a patient may require
but provides them in the comfort of his/her home.
This program uses an interdisciplinary team of professionals
whose objective is to ease physical pain and symptoms
associated with end-stage conditions while also providing
emotional, psychological, social and spiritual support
to both patients and their family members. Available
services include nursing, medical care, social work,
nutrition, and chaplain visits.
Mennonite Hospice serves patients living in the towns
of Aibonito, Aguas Buenas, Barranquitas, Caguas, Cayey,
Cidra, Coamo, Comerío, Naranjito, Orocovis,
Salinas, and Villalba.

Medical Equipment
This program was established in 1994 and provides patients with durable medical
equipment for at-home use. This includes hospital beds, wheelchairs, oxygen,
walkers, respiratory therapy medications, breast prosthesis, shoes for diabetics,
and a wide range of products for at-home patient care.
Enteral Nutrition
We provide special formulas and necessary equipment for at-home administration
of enteral nutrition for patients fitted with gastrointestinal, nasogastric
or jejunostomy tubes. We feature dietician and registered nurse services.
Parenteral Nutrition
Ideal for patients unable to use their gastrointestinal tract, this program
offers intravenous feeding so patients can obtain all necessary nutrition
and maintain an optimal nutritional state. We feature dietician and registered
nurse services.
