| Our healthcare
system, better known as “Mennonite General Hospital,
Inc.,” is a non-profit organization that provides
healthcare services to the towns of Cayey, Aibonito,
Aguas Buenas, Cidra, Coamo, Comerío, Caguas,
Barranquitas, and Orocovis. The following institutions
and programs are part of our system:
Aibonito
Mennonite General Hospital - An acute general hospital with a
150-bed capacity located in Aibonito, a rural town
within Puerto Rico’s central area.
Hospital
General Menonita de Cayey - An acute
general hospital with a 116-bed capacity inaugurated
in 1999
as a substitute
for the former Font Clinic, which was acquired in 1989.
Family
Health Centers - They provide healthcare services to the towns of
Aibonito, Aguas Buenas, Cidra, and
Coamo.
Advanced
Integral Medicine Center (CIMA by its Spanish acronym) - Located within Aibonito’s Family Health Center,
it specializes in mental health services.
Retirement Homes - Residential projects for low-income
senior citizens, strategically located near our Aibonito
Hospital.
Healthcare
Plan - Offers individual,
group or family policies featuring a wide network of
providers and
participating facilities including physicians, dentists,
pharmacies, laboratories, emergency rooms, and hospitals.
At-Home
Care - Includes a
series healthcare services for handicapped or terminally
ill patients and provided
within their own homes.
