Responding to the needs of the Aguas Buenas community, Mennonite Hospital began operating the center’s emergency room in the year 2000.

The center offers 24-hour emergency services, 7 days a week. Thankful for regaining a service they had lived without for over a year, the Aguas Buenas community has thoroughly embraced and supported the center. In it, some 55 emergency cases are evaluated and treated on a daily basis. This provided a much-needed solution for mountain region patients who previously had to go to Caguas or Cidra to seek services.
